For owners wanting to change from long-term to short-term rentals, and for new investors we offer a consultancy service in three main areas:
- Refurbishment and re-decoration: we provide a turn-key service from plan preparation, project managed building work up to complete interior installation with a full inventory. Every aspect of the interior fit-out, is handled by us. If the unit is being prepared for short-term letting we style and photograph the apartment for website listing and marketing.
- Marketing and letting: we undertake marketing via a number of media platforms and provide a commission based letting service. Our enquiries and rentals are driven by marketing through sites such as CapeStay, Sleeping Out etc and tourist information links. All apartments and villas are also listed on our own website which has numerous links to affiliated tourism businesses. There is no charge for a listing on the CapeBreaks website.
- Managing properties: to ensure a consistent standard across our portfolio we manage the privately owned units for a monthly service fee. Almost all the units under our management are owned by absentee-owners who are either unwilling or unable to be responsible for the day-to day marketing and upkeep of their investments. Our management service ensures that the apartments are intensively supervised and problems are attended to immediately, resulting in the properties remaining in perfect condition, and always being ready for occupation at short notice.
